Safety Controls Technology (SCT) purchased Amerisafe Services in the autumn of 2016, bringing life full circle for the two woman-owned business enterprises. SCT President Gail Grueser and former Amerisafe President Tari Reph began their work in Occupational Health and Safety Services back in 1999. The merger of the two companies further strengthens the commitment to ensuring the health and safety of all employees is a top priority.

Combining Amerisafe under the SCT banner expands the continuum of services available to clients. SCT is a woman-owned business enterprise that delivers comprehensive occupational safety and health solutions to both the public and private sectors.

Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to: drug testing; respiratory services; safety engineering; consultation; safety training; on-site safety staff augmentation; inspections; written programs; submittal packages; expert witness testimony; biological, environmental, and occupational monitoring; and representation for our clients to regulatory agencies. We also have mobile units available for customized training and health screening services.

Our staff is experienced at identifying gaps and deficiency in safety policies and procedures through Audits & Assessments. Our safety experts include Rob Medlock who served as the OSHA Area Director for the Cleveland Office for more than 20 years, and former OSHA compliance officers that now provide our clients with customized solutions for Construction and General Industry.
